Nachdem Apple das MacBook Pro 15″ mit Retina-Display vorgestellt hat, fragten sich die Fans, wo denn das 13″ MacBook Pro mit Retina-Display bleibe.
Ein Analyst meldete sich nach der WWDC 2012 zu Wort und terminierte die Produktion des 13″ Retina-MacBook Pro auf September, sodass die Veröffentlichung zum Weihnachtsgeschäft im Oktober stattfinden könne – 2012 natürlich.
Digitimes meint nun, dass die Veröffentlichung sogar noch vor Oktober stattfinden soll:
As for Apple, the sources pointed out that Apple has demanded its upstream partners start supplying components for the 13-inch model in the third quarter and they have not yet heard anything about changing of schedule. As for when the product will launch, the sources believe the new MacBook Pro will have a chance to launch before October to catch up with the back-to-school season.
Apple habe bei seinen Produktionspartnern bereits Aufträge verteilt, sodass die Teile für das 13″ MacBook Pro mit Retina-Display im dritten Quartal 2012 vom Band gehen können. Das Produkt solle dann noch vor Oktober an den Start gehen, um von der Apple Back-to-school Aktion zu profitieren.
Eine logische Entscheidung wäre es allemal, wenn Apple auch seinen 13-Zoller mit einem Retina-Display, bestehend aus 2560×1600 Pixeln, aufrüstet.
